As a young reservist new to the Army executive protection of major DoD players, I had the opportunity to work early on with Bob Clark when he served as ADC to CSA John Wickham. I went on to serve many others but no finer gentlemen and good friends did I find than this good man.
History and fate have a habit of throwing their best an unfair curve and Bob Clark got his at Campbell. But I am proud to say I know him.
I hope his retirement is enjoyable. I remember the helicopter rides in Chile and him waiting to see me in the sands of Desert Shield.
