Jeff Webster’s 20 years of community leadership have spanned the worlds of politics, business, education and the nonprofit sector. A former elected official, Jeff served four years on the San Antonio City Council, representing District 10 on the northeast side. He’s well known for his successful effort in recent years to bring the Dallas Cowboys training camp to San Antonio.
As a principal with global engineering firm AECOM, Jeff currently leads business development in the San Antonio market. Under his leadership, AECOM was selected to manage Bexar County’s flood control program and develop a long range vision for the San Antonio International Airport.
Previously, Jeff served as president of Junior Achievement of South Texas, demonstrating a strong commitment to community education by directing all organizational fund raising and outreach efforts, and overseeing policies and procedures for this executive-driven education and mentoring program.
Jeff’s corporate leadership and managerial experience was honed during his tenure with Grande Communications as director of business operations and governmental affairs. There, he was responsible for San Antonio operations and the development of regional strategic marketing, customer service, collections and team development. In his early career, Jeff worked with Nortel Networks and B. Braun Medical leading sales teams and directing business development.
Over the years, Jeff has been tapped to serve leadership and volunteer roles with the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, the UTSA Athletics Advisory Board and the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
Recently Jeff created and trademarked a new faith based apparel company called Life is a Blessing (www.lifeisablessing.com).
Jeff is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University. He is married to Paige Webster and has two children Hunter (11) and Harrison (10). The family attends Community Bible Church.
