D’Ann Harper, licensed in 1978, began her real estate career with Bob Jones Realty in San Antonio, Texas. In 1986, she opened her own company, D’Ann Harper, REALTORS®. Acquiring the company-owned Coldwell Banker Residential real estate offices in San Antonio in 1989, the company grew from 18 sales associates to 100 over-night.
Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® has attained Coldwell Banker Chairman Circle status every year since 1990. This award is bestowed on those companies who are in the top 1% of all Coldwell Banker companies internationally based on closed gross commission income.
D’Ann was also honored as the recipient of Coldwell Banker’s “Chandler B. Barton Can Do” award in 1998.
Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® has grown into a full service real estate company with 5 residential offices throughout metropolitan San Antonio and approximately 300 sales associates. The company’s ancillary services include a corporate relocation and referral division, REO division, residential property management and leasing division, and an apartment locator rental service. The San Antonio Business Journal has ranked Coldwell Banker D’Ann Harper, REALTORS® as the #1 real estate company in San Antonio for four consecutive years. This ranking is based on closed gross commission income. In addition, D’Ann owns the Coldwell Banker Commercial franchise for the San Antonio area.
D’Ann is active in many professional organizations. Just to name a few – the Employee Relocation Council, Texas Relocation Network, San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, Texas Association of REALTORS®, Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation.
In addition to serving as Year 2000 Chairman of the San Antonio Board of REALTORS®, D’Ann has served on the Executive Board of the Texas Association of REALTORS®. She has chaired and served on numerous committees and task forces at the state level. By serving on the Texas Association of REALTORS® Relocation Task Force, she was very instrumental in helping develop curriculum for mandatory continuing education classes in the area of relocation.
In Year 2002, Governor Rick Perry appointed D’Ann to the Texas Military Facilities Commission for a six year term. This commission is charged with the responsibility of overseeing the facilities management of Texas’ 100+ armories.
D’Ann is very active with her church and also serves on the SAMMinistries Board of Directors, a non-profit organization which feeds, clothes, and houses the homeless.
A strong proponent of continuing education, D’Ann holds the following designations:
· CIPS – Certified International Property Specialist
· CRB – Certified Residential Broker
· CRS – Certified Real Estate Specialist
· GRI – Graduate REALTOR® Institute
