Bob Gardner has been in the Mortgage Banking industry for 38 years. Bob opened his own company in 1990 under the name Partners Mortgage Services, Ltd. In the late 90’s the company was sold to SouthTrust Bank of Birmingham Alabama. Bob stayed with SouthTrust and managed the Texas mortgage operations until they sold to Wachovia Bank in January 2005.
In 2005 Bob started Legacy Mutual Mortgage with 3 locations in San Antonio, Texas. Today the company employs over 40 people and originates over $250,000,000 in residential loans. Bob is currently Chairman of TAP Federal Credit Union and the past president of The Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.
Bob is married to Elaine for over 40 years. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Bob is a graduate of Trinity University.
